About

What started with 12-year-old me, my friends, and my family selling handmade things at the end of our driveway eventually grew into regular market stalls. Years later it became a lockdown hobby where I taught myself linoprinting, then a tiny Etsy shop with over 100 orders, and now a full website with even bigger plans ahead.

Hi, I’m Ellery.

I’m a creative and an architecture student who is obsessed with nature, design, and all things a little bit alternative. I’m also passionate about sustainability and I want it to feel fun and approachable instead of overwhelming.

My vision for this brand is simple: to make sustainable art and fashion accessible, especially for people with smaller budgets, while keeping everything playful, thoughtful, and unique.

Every piece I sell is made from start to finish on one desk in my little study. I carve lino blocks, hand-print every tote and tee, cut paper to size, paint old frames back to life, build my own silkscreens, and sketch new ideas by hand. If I can learn how to do it myself, I will, and it all happens right here at that same desk.

Sustainability

Sustainability has and will always be the forefront of the Green Fox. I am always looking for new ways to make everything more sustainable but in an affordable manner to keep the price down for everyone, which many think is impossible. I'm here to prove that it isn't. This is something I've put countless hours into researching and learning about. Here are some of the ways I've implemented sustainability across the Green Fox.

T-Shirts

The T-shirts are AsColour, a New Zealand apparel brand that puts in the effort with a traceble supply chain, to respect human rights. They are also a member of the better cotton initiative. But this is also a brand that I've tested myself to make sure that the T-shirts stand the test of time, but also are super comfy!

Tote Bags

These are Legend Life tote bags made from 70% cotton and 30% hemp, making them more duriable, anti-bacterial, and stain-resistant, so that they can handle any adventure your heart desires and more

Packaging

All of the Green Fox packaging is either home compostable or fully recyclable. If you order a t-shirt, the mailer, apparel bag, and stickers are all home compostable with instructions on the packaging. If you order a print, the rigid mailer is fully recyclable, the protective case is biodegradable (I saw it first hand when my garage flooded), and the sticker is home compostable

Upcycling

The Green Fox has a full range of upcycled products that have been found in opshops or fb marketplace, taken home, and brought back to life with a Green Fox touch. So far this range includes tops, shirts and frames. I also us upcycled frames for all my screen printing frames. This section has a lot of room to grow, with new ideas forming by the day

I will always be trying my best to keep things as transparent as possible. But if you have any questions or even ideas for sustainability, be sure to pop me a message!
